Bush Takes Big Oil Back to the Beach
Last week, officials in the Bush/Cheney Administration announced plans to allow Big Oil to drill in tens of millions of acres of environmentally sensitive waters off the coasts of Virginia, Florida, and Alaska, including Alaska's salmon-rich Bristol Bay, an area closed to drilling after the disastrous Exxon Valdez oil spill.
