Investigating possible murder-suicide in Chula Vista

Chula Vista, San Diego .- A woman and two children were found dead in a house in Chula Vista on Wednesday in what authorities believe a murder-suicide directly linked to a man who jumped off a bridge in Spring Valley this morning.

Yet known the identity of the victims, but authorities said the woman worked at San Ysidro High School and that children could be under 13 years.

Research on the street Currant Way, Eastlake area, started around 5:25 am, as published in signonsandiego.

The CHP officer, Ken Jackman, said this morning an officer of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) realized that Highway 125 near Highway 54 was a 2001 Hyundai Elantra abandoned.

In reviewing the officer found around a man in the ravine below. The man had no identification, but had some keys, said Jackman.

The officers traced the license plate were abandoned until the house of Currant Way, where they found the body of a child.



About 10:25 am officers of the CHP reported the case to the Chula Vista police, who in the house also found the bodies of a woman and a girl.

The police spokesman Bernard Gonzales said the woman was lying in a pool of blood, but still not know the cause of death.

He added that they are investigating the possibility that there was a murder-suicide, but do not know for sure if the woman and children are related to the man who jumped from the bridge, since he had no identification.
